We have changed the color to white/red/white. This was the response letter we recieved regarding our color change request:

We can alter the application to white/red/white while processing – not a problem.

Empire State Building Lighting Approved?

Today we got the letter from a member of The Empire State Building Lighting Partner regarding the lighting of it on Ringo's Birthday. The email said the following:

Thank you for your e-mail. We will let you know if we have any follow-up questions.

What does this mean? Well, I'm hoping it means that they will light it up all white representing peace on July 7th. I guess we will have to wait and see!

We wrote to Elizabeth asking her the final verdict of the Ringo project and she replied with this:


Hi Guys,

I would like to get some additional information from you.

Is there a blog or somewhere you have already been documenting this project?

Can you please give me more details (and I apologize if you have already provided this in a previous email), such as the back story to your selecting Ringo? And how this will be funded and where it might be shown?

5th Call to Beautiful Day

Just spoke to Elizabeth Freund. She is going to call us on Monday and tell us whether or not "Tea Time With Richard" will happen.

4th Call to Beautiful Day

Just got off the phone with Elizabeth Freund (Ringo's publicist). They are in the process of reviewing our request. All we can do, again, is wait....

Studio One FAIL!

Yoko has personally declined our request to meet with her...

Third Call to Studio One

I just got off the phone with Amanda Keeley from Studio One. I told her about us and she redirected us to Yoko's attorney. We called him but we got the voicemail. We left a message so hopefully he will call us back soon!

3rd Call to Beautiful Day

I just called Beautiful Day Media and left a voice mail. Within minutes they called back an asked if I could send the rest of the details to them via e-mail. We're looking good so far! I'll keep updating.

Request to Studio One

We sent out a letter to Studio One. Hopefully we will get a response soon.

Second Call To Studio One

I just got off the phone with a representative at Studio One. We got more information on how to proceed with our interview with Yoko Ono, and how she can possibly help us meet Ringo Starr.

I just called Beautful Day Management. Unfortunately I got the voice mail but I left our info and hopefully she will contact us soon.

We just got off the phone with Elizabeth Freund (Ringo's Publicist). By accident we called her house phone but she was very friendly and cooperative. She gave us her office number and is willing to help. Let's see what happens!

First Call to Yoko

We just made a call to Studio One in NYC. It was a total success. They told us to contact Amanda Keeley via e-mail. Yoko is being informed about us and our goal. All we can do at the moment is wait.
